The Martha’s Vineyard Museum is a stunning location for events on the Island.

Sara and Phil kicked off their wedding weekend with a vibrant welcome event at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum. A perfect way to gather their 80 closest friends and family on a beautiful June day. The museum, rich with island history and perched above Vineyard Haven Harbor, offered a stunning and celebratory backdrop for the beginning of their festivities.

Guests arrived to find the museum buzzing with an extra layer of excitement as it prepared for the 50th anniversary celebration of Jaws. A striking scale model of the iconic shark’s head was on display, adding an unexpected touch that guests loved exploring.

As attendees made their way inside, they were greeted with signature drinks crafted especially for the occasion. With glasses in hand, guests flowed out onto the museum’s expansive outdoor patio, where sunshine and sweeping ocean views set the tone for a relaxed and welcoming evening. The natural beauty of the harbor created a perfect environment for mingling, and easing into the weekend’s celebrations.

Buckley’s Catering served an array of delicious bites that highlighted fresh, seasonal flavors. As the evening continued, servers passed a selection of desserts, offering guests a sweet finish as conversations lingered and the sun began to set over the water.

Sara and Phil’s welcome event felt like the ideal Vineyard gathering: sophisticated yet relaxed, full of warmth, and steeped in the island’s coastal charm. It was the perfect start to a weekend celebrating their love and the community surrounding them.
