Jamie Newhouse

Jamie has a passion for events, she sees details and loves to help you put your event visuals together into one cohesive event. With a Masters in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of technology in Boston. She has event experience on both the Island's of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. To her, it makes no difference if she was designing a luxury apartment, or a wedding day; the space needed to be well utilized for guests to be comfortable.

Jamie leads not only the day to day operations at Island Dreams, but also the event day as well. 

She now lives in Edgartown year-round with her husband Brian, and tiny dog Charlie. When she's not in the office, you can find her outdoors exploring some of Martha's Vineyard's best paddle boarding, hiking, or kayaking locations.

Clients regularly gravitate toward Natalie for her steady, reassuring energy. She is the eyes and ears of the entire event. Managing not just the catering team and vendors, but making sure the clients have everything they need throughout the evening.

Hadley brings a warm, engaging presence and thinks quickly on her feet. As our event lead, she takes on all aspects of the event day and executed flawlessly. Her attention to detail helps to ensure the event day runs smoothly.

Rebecca's kind hearted nature makes her the best person to manager the wedding party. She keeps her eye out for anything they might need while we prep for the event day to begin.

Smiley is just that, the smiliest person you'll ever meet. Our dedicated social media videographer, and has a keen eye for details and service. She makes the perfect person to make sure all the details of your day are in the right place.

Island Dreams Event Design is based out of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts and built on bringing your wedding and event dreams to life. 

We are based in Edgartown and serve the neighboring towns of Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven, West Tisbury, Chilmark, and Aquinnah. Each and every event is unique, and we take a unique approach to each wedding, making your day feel truly special.
