I’ll meet you in the Sky(deck)

Beach Road Weekend is a yearly 3-day music festival in Vineyard Haven, Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.

August 26th, 27th, and 28th were filled with laughs, good vibes, and incredible music across the Island thanks to Beach Road music festival. Every year during the last weekend of August, the Island fills with incredible performers from all over. The Island Dreams team was fortunate enough to join the Beach Road team in creating two incredible VIP spaces.

This was the first year for elevated viewing platforms called Skydecks. These platforms created an exclusive viewing area for both stages. All areas of the skydeck were dedicated to its ticket holders and included buffet food, open bar, seating, shade, and private luxury bathrooms. They view of both stages was incredible.

The theme for this space was Oasis and focused on bright tropical orange and green colors. We wanted to bring the tropics to Martha’s Vineyard. We used bright colors and lots of florals to create an epic tropical getaway. The space needs to feel open but provide a variety of seating so guests could easily enjoy the music throughout the day.

The theme was elevated to a whole new level with the incorporation of Coastal Creations palm tree and plant rentals. Their inventory of tropical plants included colorful hibiscus plants, snake plants and so many more. They are based out of Middletown, CT and brought a wide selection of their plants to the Island for this three day event.

The Coastal Creations team incorporated palm trees of stunning heights. Tons of variety in species and colors. It was a huge hit with the guests of the space.
